I remember as a little girl being scared to sleep in my room at night because of the things that would keep happening. After my mom would tuck me in and turn out the light, my closet light would come on. I'd get up to turn it off and would be awaken by the light turning on again. I usually woke up in the morning in my mom's bed. She didn't believe me and one night she set up a camera in my room and sure enough, about an hour after I fell asleep, the light came on in my closet. Well, my mom had an electrician come to the house to check out the wiring and we found out from him that the couple that used to live in this house were still there. I guess their little daughter "Amanda" died at the age of 11 from pneumonia, and then a year later his wife died in a car accident. Rumor has it that the husband couldn't take being alone anymore and comitted suicide in his daughter's room. So I guess when my light comes on, it's the dad keeping watch over me at night...his daughter didn't like to sleep in the dark.

-Know a lady who swears she saw a small animal she says WAS the prehistoric ancestor of the modern-day horse. She was driving her mother and cousins to work at the famous Mesa Verde Nat'l Park (in Colorado) where they worked as housekeepers one morning and as they were ascending the mesa she said she saw this animal - about the size of a large cat - across the winding road ahead. She said she recognized the strange creature but couldn't place it at that moment. Upon returning home after work she referred to a reference book of some sort and there she saw a picture of a prehistoric horse and knew she'd seen the very same animal! Tony Hillerman made famous stories of "Skinwalkers" (we preferred "Wolfmen" as kids) and pretty much wrote them off as myth and scary stories parents tell to scare the heebie-jeebies out of unruly kids. All I can say is there is more truth to these stories than untruth. Go to any hogan (traditional Navaho dwelling) on the Navaho reservation in AZ, UT or NM and ask any family - you WILL get an earful and maybe even get an invite to stay overnight and experience some real hair-raising experiences with the unnatural!

-Am a veteran of the USMC and am pretty familiar with warplanes in the US military (USAF, USN, USMC and USA). In late 1989 I was driving on the Navaho reservation going west towards Tolani, AZ when I saw a silhoutte of "strange looking" flying craft I'd never seen before. Years later after the gov't 'took the covers' off their then super secret F-117 Stealth fighter I realized I'd seen it before the rest of the world had a chance to see it! Eat your hearts out Aviation Weekly!

Another story, a more recent one, I was driving W. of Hatch, UT (again on the Navaho Reservation) I saw what appeared to a silver metallic orb of some type flying parallel to my direction of travel west. Earlier that same day I'd witnessed a similiar object flying N. of our ranch where we fed and watered our cattle and horses daily. The said orb made absolutely no sound of any kind. It "floated" or "drifted" more than flew. But it obviously was under some type of manual or automatic guidance. About the only thing other than it being a UFO that crossed my mind was that it might be one of those unmanned spy planes the military is using...
